We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of our sponsors and partners who make MMM12 possible. Their commitment enables us to bring together the global materials modeling community.
Ready to Join MMM12?
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the global materials modeling community.
Help build a strong technical program for the 12th International Conference on Multiscale Materials Modeling (MMM12). We invite the community to submit symposia proposals by January 31, 2026. We welcome proposals spanning theory, simulation, data-driven modeling, and multiscale/multiphysics approaches that connect materials, processing, properties, and performance.
When submitting your proposal, you will be asked to provide the symposium title and scope, as well as a list of organizers, the preferred thematic area / track, any plans for proceedings or special publications (if applicable), and the expected number of sessions.
Please include the following in your symposium proposal:
Symposium title: Concise and specific
Scope / rationale: What the symposium covers and why it matters now
Key topics: 3–8 bullet points
Organizing team: Names, affiliations, and emails. Please designate one corresponding organizer. (Diversity of institutions, regions, and gender is encouraged)
Preferred format: Oral sessions, poster session, panel, tutorial, etc.
Estimated size: Number of sessions, expected number of contributed talks/posters
Invited speaker plan: Optional
Publication plan: Optional (e.g., special issue/proceedings intentions)
Note on Organizer Responsibilities: Symposium organizers are expected to oversee the abstract review process and chair the sessions.
A symposium may include multiple oral sessions and may also include a poster session. The final program structure (session count/slot allocation) will be determined based on the overall conference balance and proposal demand.
